    PBS Kids and Music

    PBS is a great place for kids.  The music games on the side are educational and fun!

    Sphinx Kids

    This is an excellent interactive site to learn all about music.  The music storage room shows each instrument and has a musical excerpt featuring that instrument.  Some of the games are music match, composer match, and rhythm band.  It also features videos of young musicians practicing and performing on stage.  The main focus is to show minority musicians performing and composers.

     

    The following sites are symphony orchestra websites for kids. Each has games and fun ways to learn about the instruments of the orchestra.  Some sites have music activities that you can do at home.
