My name is Amanda Bagwell and I am the school counselor at PLE. This is my 11th year (9th at Pearl) in this field.

I am a proud Pearl Pirate and graduate of Pearl High School.

I received my Bachelors degree (Educational Psychology) and Masters degree (School Counseling) from Mississippi State University. In 2019, I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Specialist degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Play Therapy. 

I am a National Board Certified Counselor, National Board Certified School Counselor, and a School Based Registered Play Therapist. I am an active member of the Mississippi Counseling Association, Mississippi School Counseling Association, American School Counseling Assocation, and the Association of Play Therapy. 

My husband is a teacher at Pearl High School and we have one daughter and one son.
