Hello! I am the music teacher for Pearl Upper. This will be my 15th year with Pearl Public School District. I began teaching at Pearl Lower and in the fall of 2020 I began working at Pearl Upper. I graduated from Mississippi State University with my Bachelors in Music Education and from Mississippi College with my Masters in Music Education. I have also been Nationally Board Certified since 2011. I enjoy playing the piano and the flute and in the past few years I have started playing guitar and ukulele as well. I also direct the adult choir at my church. My husband and I have two elementary-age children. In my free-time I like playing games, reading, and hanging out with my family.
I have enjoyed this year with the wonderful students of Pearl Upper Elementary! I'm so proud of their hard work and interest in the ukulele as well as reading rhythms and melodic notation! Keep singing!
