Pearl Upper Elementary Student Council

The student council plays an important role in every school.  It offers students opportunities to participate in and practice leadership and responsible decision making.  Members help share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with the teachers and principals.  They help raise funds for school wide and community service projects.  Student council offers students opportunities to actively participate in school wide initiatives, lend their hands to community causes, and see democracy in action.  These student leaders will gain responsibility, increased pride in their school, and an overall awareness of events at a local and/or global level. 

Members will be expected to achieve high academic  performance and exhibit good citizenship.  Participating in student council activities will encourage students to become responsible and active members of our community.
