The administration, faculty, parents, and students of Pearl Junior High School believe that the central purpose of the school is the optimal development of each individual-intellectually, physically, socially, morally and spiritually. We believe the upper school program should serve as a transition between elementary and senior high school. It should prepare the student with adequate skills to benefit from the more advanced programs of high school, vocational school, and/or college. We strive to provide the incentive and the opportunity for each student to progress as far as possible toward becoming a useful, economically sufficient citizen.

Welcome to Our School!
Pearl Lower Elementary has seen many changes in the 40 plus years that it has served its community. As McLaurin Heights, it served students through the sixth grade. Later, as Pearl Lower Elementary School, the school population included first through third grades. Today, it serves kindergarten and first grade. As of August 2005, our school boasts four beautiful classroom wings, an expansive cafeteria/auditorium, Life Center, and new administrative offices, visitors' entrance, media center/library, tricycle track and playground.
